The attorney-client privilege under Art. 13 BGFA and Art. 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code does not apply directly. Confidentiality is secured contractually (NDA), under data protection law (FADP / GDPR) and through the professional duties applying to our fiduciary and tax work.
For court representation under the attorney monopoly, for mandates with mandatory attorney-client privilege, for notarial matters and specific specialised questions, we work with admitted partner law firms (Switzerland and international). Those engagements are governed separately.
